Protect the Health and Innocence of Children!
Please
oppose any language in the CPD draft relating to education on human sexuality
and replace with “sex education”!
Did
you know that UN supported sexuality education programs:
1. Teach children as young as 5 they can touch their body parts (masturbate) for sexual pleasure (see UNESCO Guidelines on sexuality education)
2. Promotes a right to sexual pleasure to young
children whose brains are not fully developed and are not mature enough to
regulate their sexual behavior in a responsible manner. (See UN funded International Planned
Parenthood’s (IPPF) sexuality education programs)
3. Encourages youth to choose an identity based
on their sexual behaviors and sexual feelings rather than their biological sex
(see IPPF programs)
4.
Fails to disclose the research showing that youth that engage in premarital sex
have higher depression rates, lower educational achievement, and are less
likely to have stable, healthy marriages
5. Does
NOT reveal that oral contraceptives
make women more vulnerable to AIDS
6. Does NOT
reveal condom failure rates to youth
7. Does
NOT reveal that HPV and other STIs can be contracted even with perfect
condom use
8. Does
NOT reveal that no population studied has ever exhibited consistent,
effective condom use, even with extensive education and availability of condoms
(when hormones are raging many people
don’t want to use a condom even when they know better and they have them on
hand)
9. Promote oral sex which puts youth at risk for neck and
throat cancer and promotes anal sex which increases the risk of HIV infection
by 44 times. (See IPPF’s Healthy, Happy, and Hot publication)
10. Promotes the pill without revealing the
increased risk for cancer, especially breast cancer
So, who
benefits from the promotion of Comprehensive Education on Human Sexuality?
NOT children, adolescents,
or youth!
Namely,
International Planned Parenthood Foundation (IPPF), the largest provider in the
world of services for sexually active people from whom they make billions of
dollars.
