Next month I will have been attending  East 7th St Baptist church ( Graffiti ) for 21 years. Yesterday was the first time I was asked to do a Bible study on abortion and post abortion trauma. Some 18 people attended and Taylor was very happy with my style. He even took me to lunch at an " Aussie " restaurant afterwards. We tended to get more scallops at Lunawanna.

Dinner with a Prime Minister.

Last night the Lord gave me a special treat . I was invited , along with about 100 other like-minded people to a dinner in a swanky NY hotel. The event was organised by Alliance Defending Freedom ( ADF ) a great organisation that advocates for life , marriage and religious liberty around the world. The main speaker was Tony Abbot the former Prime Minister of Australia , my country of origin.

Being a typical lobbyist I just bowled up to his table before the meal started and introduced myself to him and his wife. Then at the end of the meal I had the above photo taken by Alan Sears the President , CEO , and General Counsel of ADF. And Mr Abbot even remembered my name , what a great man.

I got to sit with Derek who was the security man for Mr Abbot. Derek grew up in Hobart Tasmania where I went to High School and University.

Just got a flight to New York

After a very nice day at the Grand Canyon on Saturday , I had a day of rest on Sunday.
Today I found out that the airports have re-opened in New York and am booked on a flight tomorrow. So I will only miss out on two days at the UN.

Am stuck in Phoenix with lots of UN diplomats. Snow has closed airports in New York. Pray for less snow !

Off to the USA tomorrow

Tomorrow morning I will be up at 5.30am , to catch my flight to the USA. This week I will be in Phoenix Arizona. Then I will have a week and a half at the UN in New York.

Please pray for travelling mercies.

I will be leaving at noon to travel back to Scotland. It is my son-in-law's 40th birthday tomorrow.

Am off to London tomorrow

Tomorrow I am off to London for the week. Have several meetings there and will be coming back Friday. Then on Saturday we are having a big celebration for my son-in-law's 40th birthday.

Last Saturday I spent a few hours helping out a family friend to get rid of a tree that had roots going all over the place.  My chainsaw was very sharp and the job was done in less than an hour. Very satisfying labour.
