Inverclyde SPUC branch AGM and an old friend

Tonight I spoke to an annual general meeting of the SPUC branch in Inverclyde , about 40 miles north of where I live. This had been arranged many months ago. Some 25 people came along to hear about my work at the UN.

There I met Mrs Irene Munro , see opposite. I had spoken in her husband's church in the Scottish Highlands about 15 years ago. I happened to borrow the small shoe from this 6 month old baby , Lewis. This was as an aid in a children's talk. The parents of the father of this child wanted this baby aborted. They believed their son's education and entire life would be ruined by this baby. Well I have now found out that this little boy is doing well. His paternts married and they are very happy with 3 children. So this little boy did not ruin anyone's life , but has been a blessing.
